Why Do Some People Lose Weight While Others Fail?

I have noticed a certain similarity between people who have achieved success in transforming their bodies. There is also a similarity between people who have failed in losing weight.
First of all, people who have succeeded in losing weight and transforming the way they look are people who constantly visualize their end goal, and find motivation to push themselves until they reach it. They also have ridiculous amounts of determination and discipline, to force them to stick to an effective fat loss program and persevere even though they do not see visible results at times.

On the other hand, people who fail at weight loss usually have no idea exactly how much weight they want to lose or how they want to look like in the end. They usually just try random weight loss techniques or programs, and see what kind of results they will get. Since they have no idea what they are trying to achieve, clearly, the chances of them succeeding is low. They will naturally not know what fat loss program they should use to lose weight.

Before you even start losing weight and transforming your body, you should first set your goals clearly. Do you want to just look smaller and skinnier? Do you want to build lean muscle? Do you want to remain at the same size but at a lower body fat percentage?

When you are sure of your goals, then you will know what kind of diet and exercise regime you should be following and performing. Otherwise, you will have no idea what you are doing. This will then result in you changing on one fat loss program to another without any success.

Then again, it is difficult to stick to a fat loss program and continue making use of its methods when you do not see any visible results at times. You may have hit what is known as a fat loss plateau. If you were to use an effective fat loss program, you will not experience any such plateaus at all.

Let me share with you two methods which you should use to prevent yourself from hitting any fat loss plateaus regardless of the program you plan to use.

First of all, you should always be in a caloric deficit if you want to lose weight. You should always burn off more calories through the form of physical activities than you are taking in the form of food.

Next, you should apply progressive overload into your workouts. You should increase the intensity of the exercises you perform each and every single workout session.
